CACC Counselling and Mental Support

Feeling a little down; CACC can help.

CACC College Advisors are available to provide help and guidance for a wide range of life challenges and mental health concerns.

If you are experiencing a crisis, College Advisors can refer you to our Associate counselling services or appropriate support services organizations to assist you with issues related to anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief, addiction, adjusting to life in Canada that can become barriers to your path in achieving your educational and career goals.

CACC Confidentiality

Your interactions your therapist and College Advisors, are treated as protected health information. We comply with the highest standards of data protection to ensure your information is confidential and secure.

An exception to this is our College Advisors and Associates are required by law to report when students may be an imminent danger to themselves or others.

CACC Academic Counselling

Advisors track students’ progress to ensure that they are on the right academic track and assist them to remove any barriers from their paths in achieving their career goals.

Our Academic advisors work closely with you to assist you in achieving your educational and career goals. Advisors also help you in finding the resources and tools you will need to accomplish your academic objectives.

Whenever necessary academic intervention plan is developed, after consultation with a student, and implemented to achieve the academic outcomes. We have full-time Academic Advisors on both of our campuses.

CACC Associate

Canadian South Asian Growth & Support Services (CSAGSS)

Canadian South Asian Growth & Support Services (CSAGSS) provides counselling services to our students on a wide range of topics, including mental health and life skills. CSAGSS organizes health-related programs and projects to continue supporting community members to live a healthy and quality life.

The organization also has extensive experience developing realistic programs to support individual student needs while respecting diversity with inclusivity.

Other Support Services Organizations in Ontario

MindBeacon offers Canadian students the full spectrum of digital mental health support, including face-to-face live therapy, therapist-guided programs, immediate crisis support and free resources from the Stronger Minds community.

Guided Therapy is available FREE of charge for Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Stress, Insomnia, PTSD, Panic Disorders, Health Anxiety, Depression, and much more for students in Ontario during COVID-19, funded by the Government of Ontario.

The program’s goal is not to dwell on problems but rather to understand the cycles that maintain them, or get in the way of the things you want to do in life.

ConnexOntario provides free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental illness or gambling by connecting them with services in their area. The program is funded by the Government of Ontario.

The support services are offered via phone, web-chat and email 24/7 by a team of knowledgeable and experienced staff who are trained to offer supportive listening to help you discover the resources you will need to move forward in life.
