A Day of Connection, Discovery, and Inspiration
By Haiying Zhang

On Friday, September 26, 2025, Canadian All Care College (CACC) proudly participated in the Education & Career Expo hosted by the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library. The event brought together students, job seekers, educators, and community organizations from across York Region and everyone who were eager to explore future pathways in education, training, and employment.
For us at CACC, the Expo was more than just showcasing our programs, it was also about connecting with people, sharing insights, and helping attendees to discover how education can open doors to meaningful career paths.

About the Expo
The Education & Career Expo was a free, community-focused event designed to make learning and career opportunities accessible to everyone. The library was transformed into a lively network of themed “zones,” including:
- University Zone – Representatives from universities shared insights on degree programs, scholarships, and co-op opportunities.
- College Zone – Career colleges and community colleges showcased their diploma and certificate programs.
- Skilled Trades & Community Partners Zone – Employers and organizations offered information on apprenticeships, municipal services, and local job opportunities.
The open, drop-in format created a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging participants to explore, ask questions, and gather valuable information at their own pace.

CACC’s Participation and Purpose
At Canadian All Care College, our mission has always been to empower students with real-world, career-ready skills in healthcare, business, and technology. Participating in this Expo allowed us to:
- SHARE program information about our healthcare, business, and technology diplomas and certificates.
- OFFER personalized guidance on admissions, career outcomes, and job placement support.
- ENGAGE with the community and strengthen our partnerships in York Region.
Many attendees were excited to learn that CACC offers flexible learning options (Hybrid, Remote, and Self-Paced learning) and career guidance to help graduates transition smoothly into the workforce.
Career Spotlights That Drew Attention
Throughout the Expo, several of our program areas generated strong interest. Some of the most popular discussions centered around:
1. Personal Support Worker
One of the most in-demand healthcare careers in Ontario. Visitors appreciated how CACC’s Personal Support Worker training combined remote learning with real clinical placement experience, preparing graduates to provide compassionate care in hospitals, long-term care homes, and community settings.
2. Hair Stylist
Our Hair Stylist program also sparked lively conversations, especially among those interested in creativity and entrepreneurship. Guests were drawn to the idea of turning their passion for beauty and design into a professional trade. The program’s hands-on salon training and emphasis on modern techniques helps to equip students with both technical skill and business confidence.
3. Medical Esthetics
This program bridges beauty, wellness, and technology. Our lessons train students to perform advanced skincare and spa treatments using up-to-date industry equipment and practices. The growing popularity of wellness and cosmetic services made this a standout option for those seeking a modern, specialized career path.
What Made the Expo Special
What truly stood out was the energy and enthusiasm of the participants. For our CACC team, it was inspiring to meet so many individuals that are motivated to invest in their future – whether through returning to school, upgrading skills, or changing careers.
The Expo also gave us the opportunity to connect with fellow educators, community partners, and local employers, opening doors for future collaborations and student placement opportunities.
Looking Back and Ahead
The team at Canadian All Care College is grateful to participate in such a well-organized and inclusive event, and we left the Expo inspired by the many conversations we had and the dreams shared by attendees.
We look forward to being part of future Education & Career Expos and to strengthening our commitment to helping students build skills today that shape their success tomorrow.
