In this subject, students will gain a thorough understanding of the skills required to obtain meaningful employment after graduation. The course includes practical assignments, in-class discussions, job search procedures, and mock interviews.

Knowledge Core Competency: Upon completion of this course, the student will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of the skills required to search for employment opportunities, develop resumes and cover letters to apply to those opportunities, and know how to attend job interviews.

Objectives:

Describe the components of a proper resume. Describe the components of a proper cover letter. Summarize the job interview process, including the Q & A session. Recognize all available job search resources that may be available. Discuss the process of how to properly conduct oneself in a job interview.
