Students will be eligible to write the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) License and the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) exams.

The banking and Financial Services program prepares you for a rewarding career in customer service and sales in the banking and other financial services industry.

In this program, you will learn the banking business and gain valuable financial industry knowledge to excel in your professional world. You are introduced to financial products and services as well as financial planning and advising. At the end of the diploma, you will be fully equipped to thrive in a fast-paced environment with knowledge of the Financial Services industry

In addition, you will learn financial planning fundamentals in a computerized environment and gain professional experience towards achieving sales targets by building on strong customer relationships and negotiation skills. You will also learn complete regulatory compliance on Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing, FCAC, CDIC, and Occupational Health & Safety Acts as they relate to the sale of financial products, customer information management, especially Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and finally, you will achieve full confidence in promoting financial products and services by analyzing customers’ needs and recommending the appropriate products; overcome objections and close the sale.
